Birthday lunch

Today we had a fun birthday lunch for Pat and Papa Joe. The best part was that we gave my dad a funny cars about being old..and CJ gave Pat the same one. Here are the BFF birthday boys together--my dad still cracking up!

Pat's 30th Birthday!

On Thursday we celebrated Pat's 30th birthday with a great dinner out at Bizzarro Italian Bistro in Wallingford. The food was great (although I would have liked to try some of the Italian wine :) and we had a really fun time! We did some of the "birthday questions" that Julie's family does--things like best memories from the last year, what you are looking forward to, etc. It was funny this time because most of his answers were about baby McGah. We are now within the 3 month mark of meeting our little girl, so it's probably fair she was the center of things.

A bit more baby friendly car

This weekend Pat and I bought a new car! We traded in my Ford Focus for a new Ford Focus--one with four doors and a large trunk. It was sad to say goodbye to the car I bought in Massachusetts and spent so many wonderful road trips in. But the new Focus is definitely more kid friendly, syncs with my phone, and will last us for a long time.
